Hobart Festival of Comedy Announces Huge 2024 Lineup
The team behind Dark Mofo are thrilled to announce the new Hobart Festival of Comedy, set to deliver loads of laughs to Tassie in March 2024!
Spanning three days, featuring 11 headline shows plus a free Festival Hub, the program will encompass a wide spectrum of comedic performances, ranging from stand-up to music, sketch comedy, and more surprises to come.
Hobart Festival of Comedy will take place in the heart of Hobart's CBD cultural district, In The Hanging Garden, with events taking place in the Odeon Theatre and Altar, with the precinct's Cathedral acting as a Festival Hub with free entry, including carnies, chaotic pop-up performances, live music, and a variety of food and drink offerings.
The jampacked 2024 lineup is set to feature Australia's "MOST WANTED" comic, Logie-nominated Aussie actor Heath Franklin, Multi-award winning South African-New Zealander Urzila Carlson, globally renowned British comedy troupe Sh!t-faced Shakespeare, Irish standup comedian Ed Byrne, Australian comedian, singer and writer Reuben Kaye, as well as Geraldine Hickey, Lizzy Hoo, Nina Oyama and more!
