This time of year, not-for-profit youth organisation Girls Rock! Adelaide would normally be holding their week-long music program which provides music lessons and mentoring for girls, trans and gender diverse young people aged 10-17. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions however, the program has been postponed to January 2021, along with live events that are used as fundraising for the program.

Our friends on the team for Girls Rock! Adelaide have launched an online fundraiser with an aim to raise $15,000 by the end of August to support their 2021 program, offering incentives such as mentoring sessions and merchandise designed by local artists.

Girls Rock! Adelaide is a not-for-profit youth organisation working to create space for young people to engage and contribute in local music communities, empower female and gender diverse youth in music, and amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard. Alongside established initiatives across Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Aotearoa, Girls Rock! Adelaide launched in early 2019.
