It's only seven short weeks until Bluesfest 2023, and the team are making another major artist announcement!

The sixth lineup announcement features music illuminates Sticky Fingers, rock and roll proponents Fools, the guitar-shredding Jerome Williams and A Heartfelt Tribute to Uncle Archie (in association with The Archie Roach Foundation) as long-time friends and musical collaborators come together for a special tribute concert to honour the life and legacy of beloved Gunditjmara and Bundjalung songman Uncle Archie Roach through story and song.

The latest lineup drop follows the recently confirmed fifth lineup announcement featuring local favourite Bobby Alu, emotive and powerful vocalist Dami Im, dark and dirty guitarist Frank Sultana, sell-out blues and roots act Hussy Hicks, crowd favourite Steve'n'Seagulls, Dog Trumpet, Coterie and more.

Back in December, Bluesfest announced Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini was set to join the already massive lineup! Having been eight years since Nutini had toured, the Bluesfest team went into overdrive to secure him, and secure him they did! Paolo Nutini was one of seven new artists making up the fourth lineup drop, alongside The Angels, Ash Grunwald, Backsliders, The Bros. Landreth, Eugene 'Hideaway' Bridges, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Yirrimal!

The announcement followed the addition of musical genius Beck to the Bluesfest 2023 lineup at the start of November, joining an already mammoth list of talent. Bluesfesters will now see The Doobie Brothers, bringing their 50^th Anniversary Tour to the festival stage on closing night, Counting Crows on Easter Saturday, the forever unwavering energy of Vintage Trouble, plus the mighty return of Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and St Paul & The Broken Bones, both performing on Opening Night!
